As a cancer survivor, she has worked to help bring awareness and funding to The American Cancer Society as a brand ambassador and one of the faces of the I Love You, Get Screened campaign.
What is Shadow Work?
Shadow Work is the process of accessing unconscious memories through gentle meditation in order to bring them to the surface of conscious awareness, and permanently alter how they are stored in the mind and body. Danielle is the go-to expert on shadow work in the United States, and has used this method to heal thousands of people from the heavy burdens and traumas that have stopped them from being able to experience the fullness of life. Her book, Shadow Work, is the only current resource on this topic that is scientifically-backed and proven.
SELF(ISH)philly, founded by Danielle Massi
SELF(ISH)philly was established in 2019 with the aim of empowering women in the Philadelphia region to prioritize their health and well-being. Our objective is straightforward: to underscore the importance of women advocating for their own health and wellness, recognizing that this physical body is irreplaceable.
Cancer impacts everyone in some capacity. For our founder, Danielle Massi, it was a diagnosis received during the week of her 30th birthday, forever altering her life. Following her final surgery, Danielle initiated the inaugural SELF(ISH)philly Conference the following year, a holistic event geared towards educating women on preventive and proactive health measures. Now in its fifth year, the SELF(ISH)philly EXPO, in collaboration with The Fashion District, is poised to reach new heights, aiming for an audience of 800 attendees. Danielle's battle with cancer sparked a movement empowering women to be SELF(ISH).
